Painting our mural

This terms inquiry at Pt England is Technology.

During the term the village have been looking at different ways we can make our environment a nicer place to learn. As a team we came up with a solution - paint a mural! Room 26 have planned a picket fence to paint with each student having their own picket.

We have finally started to paint it! Very exciting!

Senitila's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Senitila today who turned 7. We were lucky enough to have a delicious cake brought in by her Mum. Thank you!

Letter writing

Room 26 has been working on saying nice things to people. Today each student wrote another student a letter that was filled with things they liked about that person. Each letter was placed in a hand made envelope and decorated with drawings and stickers. At the end of the day they were handed out.

This is our first year blogging and it has taken us a while to get the hang of it.

Bird Houses

Last term in Makerspace we made bird houses. Every bird house had a right angle roof. We finally are starting to paint them and will hang them in the classroom next week.

Groups of ten.

We are learning how to post our learning to our blogs. Today we posted about groups of ten. We made lots of mess but had lots of fun taking pictures of groups of ten!

Morning Fun

Qweshan and Osa were spotted this morning being creative with the ones, tens and hundreds blocks making catapults. Some of the ones blocks even hit the roof!
